The geothermal development and utilization project of Xin 109 abandoned well in Dongxin Oil Production Plant provides a geothermal tailwater centralized heating solution for the reuse of oilfield abandoned well resources and the winter heating needs of surrounding buildings. The project utilizes four abandoned wells in the Xin 109 area to provide heating for two non energy efficient building communities. The total area of civil heating is approximately 152000 square meters, and the end uses floor radiation. The designed supply and return water temperature is 50 ℃/40 ℃.

The heating system of the project adopts the process flow of "indirect heat exchange of geothermal water+cascade utilization of heat pump units". When the heating load is low, only turn on the plate heat exchanger for heating; As the load increases, turn on the heat pump unit to supplement and improve, achieving graded utilization of geothermal resources and efficient heating. At the same time, the system adopts a combination of series and parallel processes. Under low load conditions in the early and late stages of heating, the secondary plate heat exchanger can be switched to the primary plate heat exchanger, further improving the energy-saving effect of the system.

This project has achieved effective development and utilization of geothermal resources from abandoned wells in oil fields, taking into account the winter heating and production heat needs of civil buildings. It demonstrates the technical application capabilities of Land in geothermal tailwater heating, heat pump cascade utilization, and clean heating transformation in oil field areas.
