Through the heat exchange between the energy tower and the atmosphere, combined with the usage of heat pump unit, air source can be used to realize heating, refrigerating and make hot water.

Take a heating station for example, the total investment of the heating station is 120 million Yuan. According to experts’ calculation, it will effectively realize energy-saving, emission reduction, reduce water consumption and land occupation after it is put into use. It can save energy equal to 79,000 tons of standard coal and reduce emission of 158,000 tons of CO2 every year.

The original design for the heating plat is using a water chilling unit and a gas boiler, but the operation cost is much higher. Then the company decided to use Land energy tower heat pump unit GSHP-C3008N. Since the heat pump unit was put into use in February 2014, it saved about 10,000 Yuan’s cost a day compared to heating by the gas boiler, which met with the company’s requirements and the company will gradually replace the existing boilers with Land energy tower heat pump units to save energy and reduce emission.
