Concentrate and recover the heat from the air compressor and equipment exhaust for quality improvement, and use it for process preheating to achieve energy-saving renovation with low interference and quick returns.
The exhaust temperature of air compressors and some other equipment is high, and the heat is usually directly discharged into the workshop or outdoors, resulting in energy waste. At the same time, the process end of the workshop/plant area still requires hot water or steam, which is currently dependent on boilers or electric heating. There is an urgent need for a process preheating energy-saving alternative solution. However, the waste heat source from air compressors/equipment exhaust has characteristics such as dispersion and fluctuation, and direct reuse is prone to insufficient thermal quality and unstable temperature.
System objectives:
Without affecting the operation and heat dissipation safety of the equipment body, the waste heat from exhaust air is recovered and upgraded, producing stable and controllable hot water/steam for process or heating purposes, thereby reducing primary energy consumption.

Specific plan
1. Centralized heat recovery
The exhaust air from air compressors or process equipment is collected centrally, and air heat exchangers such as air-water heat exchangers are used to transfer the low-grade heat energy in the exhaust gas to the water circulation loop.
2. Quality improvement of Land heat pump
The Land heat pump is employed to enhance the thermal energy of the recovered low-temperature hot water, producing high-temperature hot water. Depending on the specific needs of the project, this high-temperature hot water can further be utilized to generate steam or supply higher-temperature process stages, achieving cascade utilization of thermal energy.
3. Diversified heating applications
The heating end is equipped with processes such as preheating and constant temperature insulation, and is configured with a buffer water tank and temperature control valve to achieve stable heating. The heat exchange system is automatically adjusted according to the start-stop status of the air compressor/equipment, with heat storage during off-peak electricity periods and optimized operation during peak electricity periods, reducing operating costs and ensuring both economy and continuity.
